| Sensational!!
Allman Brothers Band - Live At The Beacon Theatre movie I had given up on the ABB in the mid-90's mainly because they sounded tired and muddy (hard enough being a fan in Australia anyway). I read a couple of reviews for this DVD here, and took a chance. Unbelievable. The current lineup is tight, fresh and exceptionally talented. They tease with licks and fills from the original ABB live recordings, and then add their own for extra excitement. Derek Trucks is an exceptional slide player, and Duane would be stompin' his foot listening along. Strongly recommended for fans who lost their way, and for newbies to get on board.

Allman Brothers Band - Live At The Beacon Theatre video It's a trip. It's a trip to the past, if you've been a fan of the Allmans, say from the Days Of Duane. Allman Brothers Band - Live At The Beacon Theatre film And it's a trip into the Now of this band. Who knows where it will lead, but on this disc, note by note, they take you there with them. Somehow, without any obvious body piercings, or skipping about the stage in contrived costumes... ... nor butt waggles at the camera, these guys present Music as you know in your soul that it should be. It happens in your ear and in their facial expression and body language. It's musical honesty. How often do you get that today?? I'm not just another Allman fanatic (I've only seen them live once), but I am a fanatic about music with power, and passion, that moves me. I found it here on this DVD. I expect this one to have staying power.

| Dueling guitars
Allman Brothers Band - Live At The Beacon Theatre review If you like Warren Haynes and/or Derek Trucks and/or the Allman Bros. then get this. The music is there and the video aint't bad. I bought it for someone else and now I'm here to buy a copy for myself.5 Stars for sure as far as the mus goes!~.

If you liked or loved "Hittin' the Note" this is a must have. Great show. Great interviews. Man, this band is as good as they have ever been, and one of the best in the world. I hope they release 10 more!
