| El Maestro
For those of you that are new to salsa, this is one of the main pioneers of salsa. The salsa you here today evolved from Hector's era. My favorite songs on this CD are El Cantante and Bandolera, and if you dance salsa you better be in shape to dance to these 2 songs as they are 10 minutes long each. Look out for the movie on Hector Lavoe's life due in Aug of 2007 called "EL Cantante", played by another great salsero Marc Anthony.
