| an introspection euphoria
Gerry Rafferty have come up with this 8song album, filled with unpretensious lyrics dabbling on the subjects of isolation, dealing with loss, personal introspective musings concerning decisions, and even going down a little to the realm/topic/subject of the spiritual at times. This album- quite like YES' 9th studio album release "Tormato"- suffered some point of being so badly totally under-rated both critically and commercially, and have even also spent some time lingering on the bargain bins. However it is one of the most remarkable album that is there to be discovered as something which quite stand on its own - although not to the level of that vastly over-rated (heh-heh) 1973 album release from PINK FLOYD considerably. And i'm bloody well happily spooked in surprise to find it too repackaged as a digitally remastered release. Song highlights: "Good Intensions"; (the Jesus teaching inspired (sic)(from Matthew 10:16b) song) "As Wise As A Serpent"; the reggae-ish track "On the Way"; and the title track. Pretty infectiously drowning in sound this disc is me thinks. It's not that deep, but at the same time 'tis Intellectually stimulating really... nah, I take that back--maybe i just found it only personally relevant enough to move this bloak. 'nuf said.
