| The quintessential Saturday night movie
Bridge on the River Kwai BRAY for sale For me, this movie represents the very essence of sitting at home on a Saturday night watching a movie. The various elements comprising this movie (not the least of which is the music)are essentially perfect and meld to form something which is greater than the sum of its parts.

| Fairy tale
Bridge on the River Kwai movie My Father was a POW held by the Japanese, as for this film goes it is a fairy tale, so far away from the truth, OK the acting is okay but the screen play and script is a fantasy, and is very cosy to watch, as if you were to watch what really happened you would be very shocked.
