Dated psychedelic folk pop with baroque horns ala Sgt. Pepper. I don't know of any album so highly exalted but so rarely played.

i thought the album was absolutely stellar, and is now among my top favorites. but it is not an album for everybody.

| A True Masterpiece
From the opening track until the very final note, this is as PERFECT as a record can ever be. It is best listened to and savored for it's every note in complete silence.

| BE PATIENT AND YOU'LL BE REWARDED
Forever Changes belongs to a category of "difficult" albums (like Beach Boys' Pet Sounds) that need lots of patience and time in order to fall in love with it.
