While I'm very pleased with the three recorded versions of this musical experiment, i should comment on my "findings" I did not see any particular place or region where melody and sound merge. Rather, I surprisingly concluded that distinctions, between those two, are not concrete but relative to the perspectives of the listener.
I am most grateful that composer Christian Wolff, a musical influence of mine, wrote his own musical observations to this project. These are included on the CD jacket.
Prior recordings of mine include O.P.T.I.O.N. S., a series of improvisations for electro acoustic ensemble.
