Game album for sale Product Description
Game album for sale by Queen was released Jun 21, 2011 on the Universal Japan label. Following up the most idiosyncratic album of their career (JAZZ), Queen makes the transition here from weird pomp-rock band to weird pop band, marking a new musical direction for their '80s output. Game CD music The major development here is the incorporation of funk into Queen's already-broad stylistic pallete. | the greatest hard rock band of the 70's and 80's? as an avid queen listener and buyer of their cd's, i was pleased to be able just to buy this album. it is an excellent album and showcases the band's movement into the forefront of the greatest bands of the era, along with the talents of guitarist roger taylor and vocalist freddie mercury. i rate this album right there with 'a night at the opera' or their last album, 'made in heaven'. | fair record gets great remix Game songs In my humble opinion, the biggest selling Queen record issued in the US was pretty weak overall. Game album for sale It represents the point where Freddy grew a moustache, and began experimenting with dance music, and, though they scored an enormous hit with 'Another One Bites the Dust' millions of US fans, feeling betrayed stopped buying Queen albums immediately. That said, fans of this album will be impressed with the incredible sounding 5.1 remix, the best I've heard after "Night at the Opera', a MUCH stronger album. Some minor complaints... there's a vocal effect in 'Prime Jive' (Get DOWN!) which was cool on the record, but is all but lost in the new remix, there's some vocals that weren't on 'Coming Soon' that are there now because the original multi-track was unavailable (no explanation), and I'm slightly annoyed that the lyrics don't scroll by themselves, and must be prompted by listener.
