| Got a gun?
By the end of this I was about ready to slit my wrists. This is the most boring movie I've ever seen.

| this is a very emotional movie--very tense
i think this movie is fantastic---and i think the storyline is very strong-- i also think sissy spacek deserved to win the acedemy award for her performance---it is a very serious movie when sissy spacek and her husband lose their only son with a promising future---to his girlfriends (marisa tomei)--jealous husband---when their son is killed---tension is everywhere in this beautiful little town---the parents struggle with grief---seeing the girl their son loved--and seeing the murdererer walking about free.
