Diffenerent IMHO this cut is not as good as the original. The parts that were added to the movie seemed unnecessary. With that said I love the original and there is noting that I would change about it. By qranc (Del Rio, TX) This review is for a different format.
great, but stick with the original this is a must-have dvd only for diehard fans of the original cut. still a great movie in its own capacity, but having already seen the original makes me enjoy the first cut moreso than this one. By r. graydon (houston, tx, usa) This review is for a different format.
Amazing. This is my favorite movie. Ever. So obviously, I'm going to seem rather biased in my analysis of it, but I think anyone could agree with a statement like, "This is a very smart movie." By Aaron Jay ((old school) Metallicaland) This review is for a different format.
fantastic One of the best movies out there! Very original, funny, creepy and intelligent, Donnie Darko is a must see movie By Kelly (Edmonton, AB, Canada) This review is for a different format.
I do believe it makes things clearer The original is great. I've seen both versions, and both versions I like. The DC ver. Helps explain actions, and reasonings in some scenes. By eldude9482 (Whittier, CA, USA) This review is for a different format.

Finding Neverland Blu-ray (2004)
Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut movie Most people know the story of Peter Pan, the boy who refused to grow up. Director Marc Forster's (MONSTER'S BALL) FINDING NEVERLAND delves deeper, depicting a fictionalized account of the family and events that inspired the classic tale. At the turn of the 20th Century, Scottish playwright J.M. Barrie's (Johnny Depp) latest play in London has flopped almost as badly as his marriage to stature-seeking Mary (Radha Mitchell). During one of his frequent excursions to the park with his dog, Barrie meets four young boys and their recently widowed mother, Sylvia Llewelyn Davies (Kate Winslet). Soon Barrie becomes a frequent playmate to the children, using the boys' imagination to take them on fanciful adventures. He also becomes a friend and confidante to the overwhelmed Sylvia, much to the dismay of her overbearing mother (Julie Christie). Barrie's active imagination and interaction with the family inspires "Peter Pan," a play that celebrates the child in everyone and the importance of believing in fantasies and miracles. A droll and amusing Dustin Hoffman appears as American Charles Frohman, Barrie's producer. The film also features young Freddie Highmore as Peter Llewelyn Davies, the inspiration for Barrie's title character.
Set in early 20th century England, the story follows J.M. Barrie and his quest to breathe life into Peter Pan. From the moment of inspiration to the debut of the play, Barrie's life mirrors the action of the story he has written and vice versa. Stars Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Julie Christie, Radha Mitchell, Dustin Hoffman, et al.

Human Centipede II: Full Sequence Blu-ray (2011) Top Seller
Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut BRAY for sale A disturbed London security guard becomes obsessed with THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE, and decides to follow in Dr. Heiter's footsteps by creating his own abomination in this self-referential sequel to the controversial horror hit. As a young boy, Martin (Laurence R. Harvey) was sexually and psychologically abused. Even though his father now languishes in prison, the damage done to him was far beyond repair. These days, Martin works the graveyard shift at a subterranean parking garage and lives at home with his loathsome mother. Meanwhile, his lonesome job affords him the perfect opportunity to indulge in his favorite pastime -- compulsively watching director Tom Six's sick horror classic THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE. And when Martin isn't watching the film, he can usually be found with his favorite scrapbook, which is bulging with HUMAN CENTIPEDE memorabilia. Now, Martin's movie obsession is about to lead him down a frightening path of dark and deviant behavior; using Dr. Heiter's medical blueprints as his inspiration, Martin rents a warehouse and begins collecting victims to create his own version of the Human Centipede. But unlike Dr. Heiter, Martin is not an experienced surgeon and doesn't have state-of-the-art medical equipment at his disposal. Alas, Martin only has some duct tape, a staple gun, and some other basic household items. It may not be ideal, but it's enough to get the job done. And once Martin has all 12 pieces of the centipede -- including a very special one whom fans of the first film will immediately recognize -- his masterpiece will be complete.
After being banned in the UK, the wait is over for the most controversial movie of the year, Tom Six's follow-up to his original cult horror smash: THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 (FULL SEQUENCE)! The opening night selection of Fantastic Fest 2011, the film ups the ante with a brute force unparalleled in motion pictures today. The iconic Dr. Heiter has inspired a real-life protege, the sickly, disturbed security guard Martin - who takes his gory inspiration from the original film to horrific new extremes--and one-ups the doctor with his piece de resistance, a 12-person human centipede of his own. Ashlynn Yennie, star of The Human Centipede (First Sequence), returns in this no-holds-barred assault on the senses that pushes the limits.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Blu-ray (2003) Top Seller
Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut video Tobe Hooper's TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE appeared like a nightmare in 1974, establishing a whole new genre of horror film. Thirty years later, the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is back. Directed by well-known commercial and video director Marcus Nispel, and produced by Michael Bay (ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR), this remake begins in the same place as the original. Five friends are driving through Texas on their way to a concert in Dallas. But when they stop to pick up a hitchhiker, their trip takes a turn for the worse. The friends--Erin (Jessica Biel), Kemper (Eric Balfour), Morgan (Jonathan Tucker), Pepper (Erica Leerhsen), and Andy (Mike Vogel)--have no idea what they're in for when they ask the local sheriff (R. Lee Ermey) for help. It isn't long before the blood begins to pour and the notorious chainsaw of the maniacal, murderous Leatherface starts to roar.
Although considered relatively low budget (9.5 million) by 2003 moviemaking standards, Nispel's remake is worlds away from the no-budget feel of Hooper's original. Where that film left much of the actual gore off camera, Nispel and Bay up the ante by showing every death in all its gruesome detail. They also up the dramatic ante, building to a final act that is relentless and terrifying.
Inspired by a true story and the classic 1974 film. A group of teenagers take a detour from a road trip and what happens next is beyond anyone's darkest fears and raw nightmares.

Ypf Blu-ray (2008)
Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut film This frank--and frankly hilarious--Canadian indie certainly lives up to its risqué title, but there's more going on in than just sex in this debut from writer/director Martin Gero. Though the filmmaker has plenty of experience from his work on sci-fi favorite STARGATE: ATLANTIS, this comedy presents a reality-based look at relationships in the real world. YPF follows one night in the lives of four couples and one threesome. There's a pair on their first date, with a British bad boy (Callum Blue) trying to seduce his young coworker (Diora Baird). Meanwhile, a longtime couple (Kristin Booth and Josh Dean) attempt drastic measures to drag themselves out of their sexual rut. Though Mia (Sonja Bennett) and Eric (Josh Cooke) have ended their relationship, they try to reconnect on a physical level, but some old feelings resurface. Two close friends (Carly of POPULAR fame and writer Aaron Abrams) decide to add a new dimension to their relationship, but it turns out that there may be some emotions hidden beneath their buddy-buddy interaction. And finally, there's the awkward contact between two roommates at war (Peter Oldring and Ennis Esmer) who can only agree on the hotness of one of their girlfriends (Natalie Lisinska), but they decide to spend the night as a trio. YPF is fresh and funny, and it's hard not to identify with at least one of the pairings. The dialogue is witty, but it never feels rehearsed. Though most of the actors are unknown south of the Canadian border, each of them gives a heartfelt, genuine performance that should lead to more work in the future.
Import Blu Ray/Region A pressing. Each of five stories traces a single sexual encounter between each couple, leading from "Foreplay" through to "Afterglow." Each couple's attempt to have sex is met with an endless stream of complications. The Couple, Abby and Andrew try to spice up their stale love life, only to discover that things are worse than they thought. Matt and Kristen are The Friends, lifelong buddies, one sick and the other sick of love. Their plan to sleep together goes off the rails when romance rears its ugly head. The Exes, Mia and Eric hook up again for old time's sake, while trying to hide the feelings they still have for one another. In The First Date, world-class playboy Ken comes clean about his history to his na‹ve young date Jamie, learning some of her secrets in the process. The Roommates, Dave and Gord are normally at each other's throats, but set aside their differences for a threesome with Gord's girlfriend Inez. In each case, the couple (and trio) discovers that sex isn't always simple.
