Doug Gurwell announces his music, which he calls ""New Taste Jazz"(= The perfect combination of Jazz, Pop, R and B, and Funk) who is not yet known in Japan. He is a musician from the LA area and is a composer, arranger, pianist,Walker's Story DG in ENGtrumpet player and bassist. I'm sure you can understand after listening to his new CD, "Make Me Smile", which has been just been released in Japan, why he's a really unique and interesting musician. This is not only for the reason that he plays a few instruments, but because he loves to play and listen not just to jazz. He has absorbed and integrated classic, pop, rock, or lots of genres to blend and formulate his sound. No wonder, his sound is really original!!
