| An overlooked hard rock band I'm a 33 year old guy who fell in love with Thin Lizzy 2 years ago. I'm a hard rock/heavy metal/thrash lover, and I have to say that Thin Lizzy made some GREAT music. Please listen to some of their music. You won't be disappointed. By Jason (Denton, TX) This review is for a different format. |
| Another Great Lizzy Guitarist Shines Black Rose CD music It's funny; throughout their career, this band had two of the best dualing guitarist on the planet. Black Rose buy CD music AND, to top it off, every time one of em' left, he was replaced with a great world class player. Can you name/imagine one band in the "nu-metal" scene even dreaming of this? Gary Moore, prior to his dramatic solo career, played on a couple Lizzy lps. This one may be his best. More rock then his usual blues, he soars to new heights only dreamed of by other so-called "guitar gods." The most amazing thing: even with guitarist coming and going, Thin Lizzy always delivered the goods and never lost their signature sound. God bless Phil Lynott. By a reviewer (ATTN: LIZZY FANS!!!) | Incredible Wow. This is an absolutely amazing album. I just finished listening to the copy I ordered from here, and this is possibly the best album I've ever heard. Every single song is fantastic. Words cannot describe how good the final song, "Roisin Dubh", is. I highly recommend this album to anyone -- even those who have not heard of Thin Lizzy.
