Division Bell album for sale Product Description
Division Bell album for sale by Pink Floyd was released Sep 27, 2011 on the EMI Latin label. The slow melodious instrumental overture that announces "Cluster One" trumpets the return of one of rock's most enigmatic ensembles, art rockers supreme--Pink Floyd. And in reclaiming center stage in the arena, THE DIVISION BELL straightaway tolls a characteristic chime of ambivalence, as a voice cries out from the heart of a massed chorale and strings, "What Do You Want From Me." But for longtime fans of Pink Floyd, THE DIVISION BELL offers an immense, reassuring sense of scale, as David Gilmour and company continue to expand upon the dark subtexts, rich orchestral textures and densely detailed arrangements that are the band's sonic signatures. Division Bell CD music contains a single disc with 11 songs. ...See Full Description

| For Whom The Bell Tolls.... The final Pink Floyd studio album was a definite improvement over "Momentary Lapse Of Reason". The songwriting is stronger, Richard Wright is back as a permanent band member (he delivers a fine performance on "Wearing the Inside Out"; his quivering fragile vocals fit the piece perfectly), and the music seems the strongest since the Roger Waters era. | A Masterpiece Every single song on this album is terrific. I bought the Division Bell on it's first day of release and have been loving it ever since. By Sethro Tull (UTAH) This review is for a different format. |
| High hopes? They worked!!! We all didn't need high hopes,... just hoping Pink Floyd would make their last album a huge success! Our faith was all that they needed... and it worked! I know before that I said 1987's comeback "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" was their best album (though it is besides this one), but this is clearly the best album by Pink Floyd! Every song packs a punch! "Take It Back" is my favorite epic track on the whole album, but my favorite is the haunting rock ballad-like "High Hopes"! It starts off really soft with the piano and slowly grows into it's happenings, thus ending a great album with a great song! It is revised on the new "P.U.L.S. E." D.V.D. with footage of it's first ever appearance on their 1994 world tour! These guys put out a great finish to their career! "The Division Bell" is what they were waiting for and they made it happen!!! Gilmour is truly the voice of Pink Floyd! Rock on , boys!!! By Robert (Fayettville, N.C.)
