News of the World album for sale Product Description
News of the World album for sale by Queen was released Jul 05, 2011 on the Island UK label. Freddie Mercury indulges his cabaret fantasies with the supper club cha-cha of the Spanish guitar-laced "Who Needs You." Brian May sings the mournful, folkish piano ballad "All Dead, All Dead." Things get downright Cole Porter-ish on the jazzy torch song "My Melancholy Blues." Once again, Queen prove themselves to be capable of much more than the arena rock many take to be their stock in trade. ...See Full Description

| THEIR BEST ALBUM EVER!! Although it is "OPERA" that is most remembered now and "THE GAME" being their most polished hit filled effort, QUEEN'S "NEWS OF THE WORLD" stands above the rest. News of the World CD music From the beginning with 'We Will Rock You', the group gets your attention and never lets go until the final note. Every track keeps the listener involved without taking itself too seriously. Indeed, you can sense that the band was having fun recording this album simply based upon the different changes within. You have the Hits, the Rockers, the Ballads... while still maintaining the wit & trademark style QUEEN became famous for. Track after track reveals the confidence and maturity of a band that had nothing to prove but still had a few surprises left. By the end of the album, any questions anyone had were answered. If you're looking for the ultimate album QUEEN produced, look no further. "NEWS OF THE WORLD" is their best then and now. By a reviewer (Loogootee,In,USA) This review is for a different format. |
| One of their best! News of the World buy CD music This is one of their best, and I'll tell you why. To start we see this album take off with the cover a very dark yet glorious statement. Then we roll through the songs and the standouts on this album is of course We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions, Get Down Make Love, Sheer Heart Attack, Its Late, and All Dead, All Dead. A very bombastic album, as this is the only way Queen can do things. I could go on with great things about this album but do your self a favor, buy this or the Crown Jewels set for these timeless peices of music.q. | My favorite Queen album News of the World album for sale I am a big Queen fan, and this is my all time favorite album from their catalouge. News of the World CD music Everything about this album is great. I love the outer and inner cover artwork. This is probably the only Queen album where I like every song. "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" are the best songs. "Sheer Heart Attack", "Fight From The Inside", "Get Down Make Love", and "It's Late" are the best examples of the hard rocking Queen. "Who Needs You" stands out as the most unique track. "Sleeping On The Sidewalk" is a terrific blues song. "All Dead All Dead" and "Spread Your Wings" are great ballads. I absolutely love "My Melancholy Blues" It is one of my all time favorite soft songs that Queen has ever recorded. The 1991 remix of "We Will Rock You" is fantastic. This is my first pick for anyone who is just starting to listen to Queen. By Nicholas (Litchfield. MI, USA) This review is for a different format. |
