Bookends album for sale Product Description
Bookends album for sale by Simon & Garfunkel was released Aug 21, 2001 on the BMG (distributor) label. | 1 of the best of all times Too bad these two did not stay together for at least one more album after Bridge Over Troubled Water. There's talk of a reunion... too late, they screwed up. 'How terribly strange to be 70... ? They are both approaching 70 and can only feel the shame and remorse for having squandered a great opportunity to produce more wonderful music as exemplified in the 5 Simon and Garfunkel albums... shame on them! Maybe in another lifetime... ?. By faust8577 (Lorraine, Que. Canada) This review is for a different format. |
Marvellous I'm not a S&G fanatic, but this cd is marvellous. You just can't explain, you gotta get it and see it for yourself. By zl177 (Italy) This review is for a different format.
what a reminder This reminds me of what once was. There aren't enough stars on the planet to give to this masterpiece. Might just be the best and most poignant album ever. By doug (canada) This review is for a different format.
The peak of the self-contained unit No one could conceive that Simon & Garfunkel could top the romantic and medieval atmosphere of "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme", but they did it here. By Galen (Anchorage, Alaska) This review is for a different format.
Who was first? Hands down one of the greatest albums ever recorded (one of the first concept albums). But can anyone tell me who used "Ku Ku Ka Choo" first? John Lennon in "I am the Walrus" or Paul Simon in "Mrs. By budnell (Pineville, Louisiana, USA) This review is for a different format.
