John Hiatt is one of the great songwriters of this generation. While this one may not spawn any top ten hits, it adds quality material with a mature edge to a long, enduring repertoire of music covering the entire length and breadth of the human condition.

NEW HIATT
This is just great, from "Damn this Town" to when new york had her heart broke. It's deeper daker stuff, next to Cohen's "on that day" to the Boss's "The Rising" this stands with the best 911 songs and best of John Haitt.
