After playing the 1973 Rainbow Concerts that were arranged by good friend Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton returned to Florida's Criteria Recording Studio to cut 461 OCEAN BOULEVARD. Good album, shame about the DTS!
461 Ocean Boulevard buy CD music Classic album, marred by a lacklustre conversion onto DTS 5.1. This is not a true DVD Audio disc, but is worth a listen nonetheless! EC's Reptile on DVDA is a stunner, 461 on DTS is a little off the mark. But it is still a classic album on a decent format. Recommended.

one of the best ever
461 Ocean Boulevard songs I have been in tune to this album since it was recorded. It has an overall roundness to it that can appeal to various audiences. It has a way of making the conection. I am a drummer and simply love Motherless Children. Jamie Oldaker does a fantastic job on that and the entire album. It is always on or near the top of the stack.

Not Worth it.
461 Ocean Boulevard album for sale This effort by Clapton was an almost complete waste of time, talent and effort. It is one thing to grow as an artist, but, this CD is excitely mediocre, not an inspired track to be found. The second disc contains lackluster efforts from the same era and is of little interest. Better music can be easily found elsewhere.

A superb SACD
461 Ocean Boulevard CD music I can vouch only for the 5.1 SACD layer, and it's truly excellent. The mix makes good use of the rear speakers, and tonally it's gorgeous. Buy!!!
