Essential Meat Loaf album for sale Product Description

Essential Meat Loaf album for sale by Meat Loaf was released Sep 13, 2011 on the Epic label. Unlike previous collections Epic has assembled, this double-disc set draws not only from Meat Loaf's recordings for the label, but it also licenses his '90s comeback recordings for MCA. Essential Meat Loaf songs Which means, of course, that the 20-track collection is, indeed, the "Essential" Meat Loaf. Not all of his charting hits are here -- "What You See Is What You Get," his 1971 single with Stoney, is absent, as is "I'm Gonna Love Her for the Both of Us," the only hit he had between the two Bat Out of Hell albums -- but all of the key album tracks from the two blockbusters are here, along with highlights from the sequels to the sequel, which means everything that anyone but a die-hard Meat Loaf fan could want is on this collection: ("Paradise by the Dashboard Light," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth," "Bat Out of Hell," "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)," "Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through," "Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are," and a remix of "Life Is a Lemon and I Want My Money Back"). Essential Meat Loaf CD music is a 2-disc set with 18 songs.   ...See Full Description

Essential Meat Loaf songs Those who find the pairing of '70s rock god Robert Plant with contemporary bluegrass queen Alison Krauss unlikely have probably not been paying attention to Plant's latter-day work, which is full of intimate, acoustic-flavored balladry. While the organic-sounding, low-key Plant/Krauss collaboration, RAISING SAND, is a far cry from Led Zeppelin's stadium rock, it offers up some hauntingly moody textures that should appeal to "Battle of Evermore" admirers. Consisting mostly of sagely chosen cover tunes, the album finds Plant and Krauss bringing their warm-but-eerie harmonies to everything from Townes Van Zandt's nihilistic folk poetry ("Nothin'") to the crumbled beauty of latter-day Tom Waits ("Trampled Rose"). Determined not to rest on their laurels or cater to expectations, the 59-year-old icon and his junior partner craft a subtle and intriguing sound built on their shared love of folk forms and gift for interpretation, bringing to light esoteric gems by late Byrds visionary Gene Clark and the Everly Brothers along the way as well.

Essential Meat Loaf buy CD music This CD commemorates Willie Nelson's 70th Birthday (April 30, 2003). The catalog of Willie Nelson is so vast and rich that assembling an "essential" collection of only one or two discs seems nearly impossible. RCA's single-disc 1995 attempt was admirable and worthy, but doomed by space limitations. With a bit more room to move, Legacy's roomier two-disc collection is about close as anyone could hope to come. We get the full view of the great singer/songwriter's artistic journey. "Hello Walls" and the evergreen "Crazy" hail from the days when Nelson was tooling around Nashville as a songwriter for hire but mystifyingly unable to connect as a solo artist. His transformation into a counterculture icon via the '70s "outlaw country" movement is marked by the likes of "Me and Paul" and "Bloody Mary Morning." His tremendous skill as in interpreter can be heard in such standards as "Blue Skies" and "Georgia on Mind," which helped make him a crossover success in the STARDUST era. Latter-day collaborations with everyone from Aerosmith ("One Time Too Many") to U2 ("Slow Dancing") show Willie's mercurial, eclectic nature. Add it all up and a portrait comes together of a man whose artistic vision has carried him across decades and stylistic shifts aplenty and seen him through in style. Recorded between 1961 & 2002. 2cds-40 All Time Country Classics 1961-2002 Personnel includes: Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, Ray Price, Leann Womack, Julio Iglesias, Leon Russell, Merle Haggard, Aerosmith. Essential Meat Loaf album for sale Black Country Communion's self-titled debut met with so much critical and, in some markets, even commercial success that the multi-talented super-quartet wasted little time -- an almost worrisomely short amount of time, in fact -- before getting to work on this sophomore follow-up. But, thankfully, striking while the iron was hot did not equate with going through the motions on 2011's unassumingly named 2; nor, for that matter, did it entail the sort of battle between mega-egos that is so common to these superstar arrangements. Rather, while the smart money had BCC pegged as vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes' ship to captain, BCC2 actually sounds like the baby of drummer Jason Bonham, of all people, because so many of its songs show no qualms about getting the "Led" out, if you catch the meaning. This modus operandi quickly becomes self-evident in Derek Sherinian's "Kashmir"-like keyboard orchestrations for "Man in the Middle" and "Save Me," guitarist Joe Bonamassa's Jimmy Page-inspired power riffs and knotty licks for "Smokestack Woman" and "I Can See Your Spirit," not to mention the all-purpose "Battle of Evermore" rewrite on steroids that is "The Battle for Hadrian's Wall." Far from descending into a pale imitation like, say, a Kingdom Come or late-'80s Whitesnake, however, BCC's offerings rise above and fly true thanks to the unimpeachable pedigree and recognizable musical personalities of all involved here. It's also highly entertaining to hear Hughes -- he of Deep Purple MKIII and sporadic collaborations with Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi -- getting all cozy with the third and final cornerstone of the legendary British heavy metal axis. And of course there's much more to BCC2 than pundit-sanctioned Zep worship. Urgent opener "The Outsider" delivers heavy rock so pure that its ingredients are already etched in the public domain by now; "An Ordinary Son" blends Bonamassa's blues, Hughes' soul, and Sherinian's churchy Hammond organ into a heavenly gospel rocker; and the slow-burning epic "Little Secret" (plus, to a lesser degree, the distinctly somber "Cold") stretches the expressive breadth of Hughes' voice and Bonamassa's six-string to both their most subtle and bombastic extremes, resulting in an exquisite display of pent-up tension and grateful release. As a result, BCC2 arguably tops its worthy predecessor as a balanced song set while, admittedly, lacking any singles as striking as BCC1's "One Last Soul" or even "Black Country," none of which should bother the last living album consumers out there, who obviously make up the vast majority of the band's constituents. And here's hoping Black Country Communion can keep the ball rolling into album number three.... ~ Eduardo Rivadavia Liner Note Authors: Glenn Hughes ; Kevin Shirley. Recording information: East West Studios, Hollywood, CA. Photographer: Christie Goodwin. Personnel: Joe Bonamassa (vocals, guitar); Glenn Hughes (vocals, bass guitar); Derek Sherinian (keyboards); Jason Bonham (drums). Audio Mixer: Kevin Shirley.

Essential Meat Loaf CD music For nearly four decades, Rob Halford has been one of the most influential singers in metal, and ever since he formed his band Halford, he's had a pretty easy time reminding the world why. On Halford IV: Made of Metal, the metal god and company once again unleash an album of classic, New Wave of British Heavy Metal-influenced goodness for metal fans to devour. Kicking off with the galloping aggression of "Undisputed," Made of Metal quickly establishes itself as an album that's not satisfied with being merely driving, but aims to be empowering. Tracks like "Thunder and Lightning" and "Like There's No Tomorrow" wouldn't feel out of place in an action movie training montage, painting a picture of a protagonist steeling himself as he prepares to do the impossible. While songs like the odd country/metal ditty "Till the Day I Die" and piano heavy power ballad "Twenty-Five Years" offer slight diversions from the old-school intensity, Halford largely to sticks to what it's best at: straight-ahead heavy metal. Once again, Rob Halford shows that sometimes the old ways are the best ways with an album of what is essentially heavy metal comfort food, a biting sonic reminder of the glory days of the NWOBHM movement that takes that classic sound and adds enough new ingredients to make it feel fresh. ~ Gregory Heaney Photographers: Eddie Malluk; John Baxter . Personnel: Rob Halford (vocals); Metal Mike Chlasciak, Roy Z (guitar); Bobby Jarzombek (drums). Audio Mixer: Pete Martinez .
