In My Tribe buy CD music This CD deserves to be one of the best sellers of all time, because it's absolutely brilliant. Vocalist Natalie Merchant shines, on both the singing and composition fronts. Every track on the album is a masterpiece... strangely enough if you had to pick a teeny-weeny hole in the finished product, you could argue that "Peace Train", a Cat Stevens cover, is the weakest track (!) However picking holes in the CD is like calling the pyramids at Giza interesting ... a total, utter and irrelevant waste of time.

| Not taking anything away from Natalie OR the band but...
In My Tribe songs I had the pleasure of going to high school with Robert Buck back in 1974/75, and I must say that he was not only a great guitar player, but he was also one of the most soft spoken, kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! He's gone from this Earth now, but everytime I listen to this CD, he's playin' that guitar right here in my living room! I miss you Bob, as does the E.H.S. Class Of '76, and I know that I WILL see you again some day! Rest In Peace my dear friend, you are gone, but never forgotten! D.G..

| Impassioned soul...
In My Tribe album for sale A very even release and often seen as their best collective effort from start to finish. Only years later do we realize how authentic, memorable and poignant this band was. The passion they had for their music is something sorely missing in today's music. One last note: If "Verdi Cries" doesn't touch your soul to its depth, nothing will. The emotional pinnacle of the album.

In My Tribe CD music .10,000 Maniacs are one of those unique bands you can't define Natalie Merchant's social awareness in her lyrics with a melodic voice to match. This album is a must have Like the Weather is one of the catchiest songs ever whole album is good along side Our time in Eden one of their best like REM who came before em 10,000 Maniacs were kings of true alternative music before it was cool to mainstream pick this up..

| Breathtaking lyrics and alluring voice
My first CD ever was "Tribe" which I purchased in 87. I fell in love with Natalie when I heard "Verdi Cries" This album is the finest album I have ever heard from start to finish and "Our Time IN Eden" is a close second.
