| Good stuff....
I was skeptical at first... but my friend of 35 years said it had some "jaw dropping" moments so I got it based on that. It starts off average but gets better with every song and builds to the "sand" song which is worth the price of the cd alone. On the Train song it sounds like Jeff doing his Billy G. imitation a little bit which is really cool hearing what I call squawking. Imelda, and even the other guy, are really good too. I rarely write reviews, but this one is worth it.

| BEYOND EXPECTATION
I HAD FIRST HEARD OF THIS HONORING OF LES PAUL ON A SPECIAL ON PBS TELEVISION. ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE SELECTIONS THAT WERE AIRED ON THE SPECIAL ARE NOT ON THIS CD, HOWEVER THERE ARE OTHER SELECTIONS THAT ARE ON THE CD THAT WERE NOT ON THE SPECIAL. OVERALL ALL THE PERFORMERS AND THE SELECTIONS ARE SUPERB. BEING A GUITARIST AND LOVER OF MUSIC I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS CD. JEFF BECK AND IMELDA MAY CAPTURED ALL OF THE TECHNIQUES AND SOUNDS OF LES PAUL AND MARY FORD.

| Wonderful tribute to a true "Guitar God".
Jeff Beck is a great and innovative guitarist who pays homage, on this album, to Les Paul, who was one of his inspirations. Two more excellent guitarists, Brian Setzer and Darrel Higham, make this set even better. Imelda May's voice and vocal style are wonderful and are the icing on the cake, so to speak. Gary "US" Bonds, Blue Lou Marini, Trombone Shorty and all of the musicians who worked on this collection have helped make it a fitting tribute to Les Paul.
