Electric CD music Queensrÿche aren't exactly a band whose forte is the single. Nevertheless, they racked up quite a few in the late '80s and early '90s, and 11 of them are collected on the 2013 compilation Icon. "Silent Lucidity" is naturally here, as is "Empire," "I Am I," "Jet City Woman," and a selection of album cuts that illustrate Queensrÿche's range. While a full album would remain the best way to appreciate the depth of the group, this is nevertheless a solid sampler. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
