Th1rt3en album for sale Product Description
Th1rt3en album for sale by Megadeth was released Nov 01, 2011 on the Roadrunner label. Megadeth's 13th studio album, and first since 2001's The World Needs a Hero to utilize the talents of bassist/founding member Dave Ellefson, was produced by Johnny K (Staind, Disturbed) and features a combination of newly composed tracks, along with older cuts written years ago but never put to tape. Darker, heavier, and more immediate than 2009's Endgame, Dave Mustaine's snarling vocals ride higher in the mix this time around, but fans need not fear, as his fleet fingers are still possessed with the power to conjure the dead. Th1rt3en CD music contains a single disc with 13 songs. ...See Full Description

| Megadeth is aging gracefully ! Well 2011 is here slightly after halloween and Megadeth returns with a follow up to 2009 Endgame entitled simply Th1rt3en. The album is full of more catchy tunes and still solid Mustaine and company solos/riffs etc... basically this is a safe Megadeth release nothing that will let you down but no risk is taken either. By holtj04 (Greensboro, NC, USA) |
| This Album is Killer This is a great Megadeth Album. The songs are fast and hard and deliver everything I have come to appreciate about Megadeth. By Chris (Alameda, CA) |

Metallica Death Magnetic CD (2008)
Th1rt3en buy CD music In the five years between the two releases, Metallica seem to have gotten back in touch with the raw power of their classic period, with a little help from legendary producer Rick Rubin. One listen to the 10-minute epic "Suicide & Redemption" with its mix of raw rock ferocity and complex musical development should tell you the old Metallica's back in business. Long tracks with complex structures and intricate, speedy riffs abound. Most appealing for longtime fans may be the return to the frenzied guitar solos of yore. Rubin seems to ...

System Has Failed CD (2004) Top Seller
Th1rt3en songs For 2004's THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED, vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine reunites Megadeth -- original guitarist Chris Poland along with new members bassist Jimmie Lee Sloas and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta -- for the band's first new studio album in three years. Frontman/songwriter Mustaine has a lot on his mind, as he ruminates on many of the political and social ills troubling the world, and his words are delivered over grooves and riffs reminiscent of mid-period Megadeth (circa COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION). The overall sound is fresh and energetic, and Mustaine conjures memorable licks, particularly when he trades blazing solos with Poland, ...

United Abominations CD (2007) Top Seller
Th1rt3en album for sale Issued in May 2007 after months of delays, UNITED ABOMINATIONS not only marks Megadeth's first album for the venerable Roadrunner label, it features singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine backed by an entirely new ensemble. In fact, the record's artwork even boasts a revamped depiction of Vic Rattlehead, the band's mascot. Clearly, the changes have reinvigorated Mustaine, who is at his snarling best on these fierce tracks, which, like many classic Megadeth tunes, take on issues of politics ("Washington Is Next!"), armed conflict ("Gears of War"), and blind obedience ("Sleepwalker").
Given Mustaine's strong personality and knack for selecting top-notch musicians, the radical ...

Endgame CD (2009) Top Seller
Th1rt3en CD music The release of 2009's ENDGAME brings with it a startling realization: if first-generation thrash metal fans had been polled about which of the genre's "Big Four" -- Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth -- would prove to be the most resilient and consistently prolific over the next quarter century, the only sure-fire consensus would probably have been "well, anyone but Megadeth!" And yet, 12 studio albums and 150-plus songs later -- more than any of the other three have managed -- that's exactly what's come to pass. The group's second release for Roadrunner, whose title apparently refers to "coming ...

Anthrax Worship Music CD (2011)
Th1rt3en buy CD music Anthrax fans have had no choice but to be very patient waiting for the arrival of the group's tenth studio album overall, 2011's Worship Music. Doubling as the first Anthrax studio album since 2003's We've Come for You All and the first with singer Joey Belladonna since 1990's Persistence of Time, Worship Music was also recorded once before with singer Dan Nelson, and was to be released in 2009. After the group parted ways with Nelson shortly before the album's projected release, Belladonna was welcomed back into the fold, and all the vocals were re-recorded. But to Anthrax's ...

Iced Earth Dystopia CD (2011)
Th1rt3en songs Iced Earth look back on some old ideas on their tenth studio album, Dystopia, their first album with new vocalist Stu Block (formerly of Into Eternity), who joined the band after Matt Barlow decided to depart the band a second time to focus on his family. The album finds Block pushing his vocals into new territories, moving away from the anguished growl he perfected with Into Eternity in favor of a more soaring singing style. Block handles the change well, easily adapting his style to fill some pretty big shoes in the power metal outfit. While fans might be torn about ...
