This is the story of how the music of " SONGS FROM THE RAINBOW WORLD" made the journey from the spirit world into this world. Ten years ago I saw a picture of a woman from the Yucatan named Geeta. The sweetness aand peace I saw in her eyes called out to my spirit and I knew I had to meet her. I found out about a ceremony she was conducting and decided to attend, the moment I entered the ceremony I could see waves of color and energy dancing in the room and could feel joy and a love divine growing in my heart. Music from the spirit world seemed to fill the room and I knew that a door into the sacred dream had begun to open for me. I was introduced that day to ceremonial singing,dancing, and drumming through the grace of Geeta's Mayan and Indian lineage and began to transform my life. I decided to travel to the Yucatan area of Mexico with Geeta to visit places that the Mayan people consider sacred I heard musical melodies while walking around Chichen Itza, Uxmal and various cenotes (sacred wells) caves and meditation sites and made the decision to records the music I heard. "SONGS FROM THE RAINBOW WORLD" is that music which I feel is a spiritual gift from the sacred deities of the earth and sky for all of us.
