Discipline album for sale by King Crimson was released Oct 24, 2011 on the Inner Knot label. After spending the second half of the '70s on various solo projects, the irrepressible Robert Fripp decided to reinvent King Crimson. Discipline buy CD music Instead of building on the group's '70s legacy, Fripp burned his bridges and started from scratch, even though KC drummer Bill Bruford returned to the fold for the '80s version of the band. The new Crimson was influenced equally by funk, world music, Balinese Gamelan orchestras, minimalism and the new pan-cultural sounds being made by the likes of Talking Heads and Peter Gabriel (in retrospect, the former's REMAIN IN LIGHT, which featured future Crimson guitarist/vocalist Adrian Belew, seems an undeniable influence). Just as I remember !
Discipline CD music As I re-stock my album collection from the 70's and 80's, this was a must. Where is this type of musicianship today.

The ultimate musicians band
Discipline buy CD music I have been listening to this record since its release and never tire of the incredible musicianship that is displayed. Robert Fripp is a master of his guitar craft,Adrian Belew sings and plays guitar like no one i have ever heard,Bill Bruford lays down the most complex drum patterns and makes it sound effortless and Tony Levine extracts noises out of his Stick Bass that melds everything together seamlessly.

What Happened after Red?
Discipline songs Crimson was one of the best ARTISTS in history. In my opinoin everything after this album went down hill. The only song i like on this album is Matte Kudasai.

Return of the King
Discipline album for sale A total reinvention of King Crimson. Very tight guitars with mathematical precision in every note. With the exception of "Indiscipline (4 stars), every song gets better and better the more it is listened to.

Classic KC
This one more step in KC's portfolio. Sometimes slightly minimalistic sometimes more sheer rock and progressive all the time. I would say KC is some sort of the "Philip Glass" of the progressive world.
