In the west re-issue breathtaking
Hendrix in the West songs In the west is definitely a welcome improved re-issue. Jimi at his specttacular best, with audiophiles sound. A must have for Jimi Hendrix devotees. Jeff G, Queens, N.Y. .

NOT THE SAME TRACKS AS THE RECORD.
Hendrix in the West album for sale I had this on LP back in the 1970's, and played it so much I wore it out. The stand out tracks are an impromtu "Johnny B. Goode", "Little Wing", "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) and a killer "Red House" His playing on VCSL is note for note of the original studio recording. Sadly both "Little Wing" and "VCSL" aren't the same recordings as appeared on the record in 1972, but for the uninitiated this is a great introduction to what one man could with a guitar and a stack of amps. Essential listening to any guitarist.
