| My favourite musical.
This is definitely a Robert Preston film - I can't think of any other artist who could play the part. The music and the choregoraphy are excellent, the library sequence is superb and the grand finale s triumph in film musicals.

| Simpsons and Family Guy owe this movie royalties...
Whether its Homer and the Monorail episode, where the flim-flam artist comes in to sell Springfield a monorail before he skips town or Peter on the New England Patriots singing Shipoopi when he scores a touchdown, this musical is something that needs to be seen by ALL YOUNG PEOPLE EVERYWHERE so they can even UNDERSTAND the jokes that are being given to them.
