The New ArpeggioneIn January 2009, a Schatzel Viennese fortepiano from 1830 travelled from France to Cyprus for a week of concerts and master classes. The Schubert sonata for arpeggione and fortepiano was performed in its original version by the Belgian arpeggione player Nicolas Deletaille - at that time a cello instructor at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta - and the fortepiano specialist Alain Roudier, founder of the association Ad Libitum.
