Slayer Diabolus in Musica CD (1998) Top Seller
Pussy songs The sledgehammer rhythms and churning guitars of Slayer remain in full effect on DIABOLUS IN MUSICA. Seldom has an album been more aptly titled, as the ominous, minor key riffs and modalities that power the band's compositions are the aural personification of darkness and evil, engendering an inescapable sense of foreboding. The tunes here, from "Bitter Peace" to "In The Name of God," are streamlined metal, containing only the essential elements necessary to drive the band's message home. One aspect of the band's sound that makes them unique among their peers is that no matter how harried charcoal-throated vocalist Tom Araya's vocals become, they are always intelligible, revealing Slayer's preoccupation with politics and social, as well as personal turmoil.
Principally recorded at Oceanway Studios, Los Angeles, California.
Slayer: Tom Araya (vocals, bass); Jeff Hanneman, Kerry King (guitar); Paul Bostaph (drums).

Shanghai Exodus DVD (2010)
Pussy music CDs Shanghai Exodus features the stories of Caucasians who grew up in China, migrated there for safety, and fled Shanghai after the Communist revolution.
These personal stories of struggle, survival and success provide a historical glimpse into what it was like to grow up in China while experiencing an early blending of cultures as the East and West collided.
Old Shanghai was a unique cross-cultural environment; a mixture of Asian and European settlements which formed the world's first and largest international community. Children growing up in Shanghai were imprinted with a unique perspective and worldview which made them the world's first "global citizens."
Shanghai was a safe haven to which tens of thousands fled to escape the Russian Revolution and the rise of Hitler's Nazi Germany. When communism finally began to rise in China, its sudden impact was felt and feared by every foreigner who lived there - people gave up everything they had and fled in masses. But to the "Old China Hands," Shanghai and China are still considered home, and many keep coming back to find their past.
These are their stories. Memories from a very special place in time... a place called Shanghai.

How German Is It Seasonal CD (2009)
Pussy CD music How German is it, an indie rock outfit from Brooklyn, NY, is hoping you'll like The Seasonal, their newly released first record. While the band is indebted to low fidelity trailblazers like the eels, Guided by Voices, and Sebadoh, the songs on their debut veer from acoustic laments that recall Frightened Rabbit and Jonathan Richman ("I Will Be Famous for You") to Latin-inflected chamber music ("I Believe in Me") to harder rock informed by the riffs of bands like Future of the Left and The Hot Snakes ("Ugly Quickly").
The Seasonal is a claustrophobic, schizophrenic album thematically connected by the seasons and the city it was recorded in (the album artwork consists of pictures taken the day after a freak tornado ravaged parts of Brooklyn). "Giving Up the Ghost," the first track on the album, starts with a minimalist folk riff and culminates in a noisy, chaotic climax. Its first single, "Flags & Kings," is Stephen Malkmus-inspired pop muted by ethereal chorus harmonies and ...

Martyn Bates Mystery Seas CD (2002)
Pussy album A sequel to Martyn Bates' first solo album, 1982's 10" EP Letters Written, Mystery Seas sounds like it was composed and performed on exactly the same keyboard as the original record. Like Letters Written, these are solo vocal and keyboard pieces with minimal (if any) percussion. Unlike the earlier EP, however, Bates opens up his arrangements enough ...
