Unrecognizeable covers
As a self confessed "covers junkie" I'm willing to take a chance on most tribute cd's or full fledged covers album like this one.

The retirement issue?
While I would hardly call the covers on this disc "unrecognizable," the songs here are given a typical Giant Sand treatment as Howe Gelb mumbles and scrapes through each selection.
