Seventh Star album for sale Product Description
Seventh Star album for sale by Black Sabbath was released Dec 27, 2011 on the Universal Music label. An often misunderstood and underrated album, 1986's Seventh Star was never intended to be a Black Sabbath release, as the band had effectively broken up following its disastrous 1984 tour in support of career low point Born Again. Instead, Seventh Star was conceived as guitarist Tony Iommi's first solo project, and it was only record company pressure that forced him to resurrect his longtime band's moniker at the last minute. Seventh Star CD music contains a single disc. ...See Full Description

| Love this album. GREAT I just love this CD, "No Stranget to Love", and "Danger Zone" are Metal classics. Glenn Hughes has a GREAT Voice. By admiralkirk2286 (San Diego, CA) This review is for a different format. |
| idiots! i guess the folks giving this one bad reviews don't really listen to music. They just want heavy duty rant and raves. I can't stand Glen's voice but this album was primo. On eof my favorits. It was actual music and not just a bunch of fiffs thrown together. Buy it and cringe at Glen's voice but enjoy the music. | decent duluxe edition Seventh Star buy CD music ok deluxe edition of this ok iommi solo album ( i never considered this an official sabbath album) glenn hughes sounds great on this opus and i have no problem with that but its the music a bit more then the vocals that are the problem, regardless of what anyone says born again in 83 was a killer heavy heavy album like the dio and ozzy years albums where in fact born again may have been heavier so when this came out in early 1986 it was a dissapointment to most sabbath fans, i do enjoy this release though becouse it deserves the deluxe treatment as does eternal idol, perhaps there are no outtakes from these sessions but if there are i wish they made the bonus disc rather then a none full hammersmith show with ray gillan, anyway with eternol idol the music gets better but that is for another review, i am hoping born again gets the duluxe treatment soon becouse the demos are better then the actual original album and there is some great live stuff from that tour, also another sabbath album that deserves the deluxe treatment is headless cross from 1989 that is a massive classic at this point with cozy powell on drums and neil murray on bass and of coarse the great tony martin on the mic, ive got my fingers crossed... ... .... | A very strong album I know this is sacrilege to say in a review of any Sabbath album, but I hate Ozzy's voice. Post-Ozzy I believe the Sabs had some fantastic singers (Gillan, Dio, and Hughes) and when I first heard this album I was amazed - it was subtle, powerful, and memorable. More than 20 years later it is still a favorite due in large part to the Hughes' ablility to sing. I'm incredulous that some of the reviewers voiced negative reactions but then again, they probably think Ozzy is good singer. A terrific album.... | Glenn Hughes & Tony Iommi FUSED This album has the best vocalist Tony iommi worked with: GLENN HUGHES. formerly of Trapeze and Deep Purple. Glenn just released his '05 soloalbum Soul Mover with Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums. Seventh Star is a blistering album, full of riff-laden guitar, big drums and that wonderfull soulfull, yes soulfull voice of Glenn Hughes. No stranger to love the beautiful dramatic ballad was released as a single. Tony Iommi & Glenn Hughes just released a new album FUSED (july '05).
