Sadly, given that I'm almost 68 yrs. old, I only got familiar with Leonard Cohen's music a couple of years ago.

Thank God for the Old Ideas
It just makes you wonder - if these are Leonard's Old Ideas, how god are the new ones. Listening to this perfect set of Old Ideas you don't need the new ones at all.

A Good Addition
Given his age (b.1934) and exhaustive touring schedule of late, it's no small feat to have another album of new songs from Leonard. There may not be a stand-out song here, but they hold together well.
