| Amazing Photography of Stage Play For those who sat in a theatre watching this play unfold on the stage and were several rows back, this presentation brings you to the front row... You will be impressed with the color, the music, the acting from the singers... its as if they were the real people from back then. By crjh (brockville, Ontario, Canada) |
| Seen the movie? You must have this! The movie was great and well done. But it was a movie and more was added to the story. I loved the movie. By Dennis Hollenbeck (San Leandro, California) |

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies Blu-ray (2011)
Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall review Andrew Lloyd Weber's long-awaited follow-up to The Phantom of the Opera comes to movie theaters across the country with this release of a performance captured live at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia. Ben Lewis and Anna O'Byrne star in a sequel that finds The Phantom fleeing from Paris to Coney Island, where his falls in with the local side show performers before attempting to entice Christine and her family across the Atlantic. An additional interview with Weber allows viewers a glimpse behind-the-scenes of this opulent production.
Love Never Dies is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Glenn Slater and later Charles Hart, and book by Lloyd Webber, Slater and Ben Elton. It is a sequel to the Lloyd Webber musical The Phantom of the Opera. The plot is not based on the story-line in the original book by Gaston Leroux, and Lloyd Webber stated, "I don't regard this as a sequel - it's a stand-alone piece".[1] Though he later went on say that, "clearly, it is a sequel, but I really do not believe that you have to have seen Phantom of the Opera to understand Love Never Dies".[2] The musical is set in 1907,[3] which Lloyd Webber states is, "ten years roughly after the end of the original Phantom,"[4] although the events of the original actually took place in 1881.
