Eston lb Those Days CD (2012)
M.O.B. CD music Recorded at Stoneage Recordings in Trinidad, Texas. The album was engineered by the phenominal Billy Don Williams (who also plays on the album) and his finest studio musicians. Music like it used to be and should be.
Check out some of the buzz people have to say:
Eston LB has been around for a while and has established himself to be an excellent guitar player. Here, he shows us he can write, too. And this is not generic stuff, but an original infusion of country and blues where his humor has the ability to shine through even in the more serious moments on the record. "It gets lonely, when you're livin' all alone." It sure does. The artist has effectively borrowed from the greats like John Prine, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Neil Young while also seamlessly infusing his own voice and considerable lead guitar abilities to ensure that we don't have just another derivative album, but one that is entirely Eston LB.
An Original **** ~ Bumpkin music ~
"What a great album you have created! I was listening along thinking what a great job you did with the songs and how much I liked it...then listened to "Grandma" and thought it was a hit for sure...then the album sucked me into a different place with "Those Days" & "It Gets Lonely"...Wow...absolutely love those two songs. They put me in an introspective dream state that was so awesome!...I really enjoyed all the songs. The singing and the lyrics are phenominal!" ~ Dave Marko, Dave ...

Emily Pakes Meaning and the Meantime CD (2005)
M.O.B. album Inspired by her father's guitar playing, Emily Pakes wrote her first song at the age of four. It was an upbeat ditty about a pirate cat, which she banged out on the family's out of tune piano. At nine, she began playing guitar and started writing songs. Her ability to write parodies and other quirky humorous songs set her apart from her classmates and she was often branded a bad influence by pious mothers.
She has since gone on to become a music school drop-out, a traveling one-woman-band, frontwoman, and currently lead guitarist for Cobra Kisses. Often recognized as the girl who plays guitar with her tongue, she is indeed still angering ...

Count Basie / Ella Fitzgerald Ella & Basie The Perfect Match '79 CD (2004) (Import) Japan; Super-High Material
M.O.B. CD music Ella Fitzgerald was just a tad past her prime during this 1979 concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival with the Count Basie Orchestra, though she still is very much a swinging vocalist who can keep an audience in the palm of her hand. With her regular trio, including pianist Paul Smith, bassist Keter Betts, and drummer Mickey Roker accompanying her for most of the concert, plus the powerful Basie band pushing her, Ella gives her all on every number, interpolating quotes from a number of different songs, both familiar and obscure. She's at her best in the up-tempo swingers that were part of her repertoire for ages, among ...
