The Wall was Roger Waters' crowning accomplishment in Pink Floyd. Wall songs It documented the rise and fall of a rock star (named Pink Floyd), based on Waters' own experiences and the tendencies he'd observed in people around him. By then, the bassist had firm control of the group's direction, working mostly alongside David Gilmour and bringing in producer Bob Ezrin as an outside collaborator. One of the best things ever made.
I was not one of the original listners on Pink Floyd. However after my friend introduced them to me I cant seem to get them out of my head.

Amazing
A rock opera like none other. Two disks of great Pink Floyd songs, that tell a story in a beautiful, artistic way.

This Immersion Edition is the weakest of the three of them
Of the three Immersion Editions, this is the weakest of them for a number of reasons. It contains just a DVD [no Blu-ray unlike the other editions] with a documentary and some other odds n ends.

Alice in Wonderland
This CD is great - not as good as Wish you were Here and DsotM. But still spectacular. And watch Alice in Wonderland while playing The Wall (you have to skip comfortably numb) and it's amazing the choreography.
