Tuskegee album for sale Product Description
Tuskegee album for sale by Lionel Richie was released Mar 26, 2012 on the Mercury label. Lionel Richie's birthplace is Tuskegee, Alabama so for his 2012 country duets album, Tuskegee, he is trumpeted as the country boy returning to his roots. Tuskegee buy CD music And there's something to that: as a songwriter, Richie has had success on the country charts, scoring big with Kenny Rogers of "Lady," one of many Lionel covers Kenny sang over the years. Rogers' enthusiastic embrace of Richie is an indication that the former Commodore's definition of country isn't quite down-home, and Tuskegee proves that assumption true, with each of Lionel's partners coming from the pop side of Nashville. Tuskegee CD music is a 2-disc set with 26 songs. ...See Full Description

Definitive Collection CD (2003) Top Seller
Tuskegee CD music The first pressings of THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION included a bonus disc featuring rare tracks.
Although Lionel Richie was AWOL for most of the '90s, he's still a pop culture force to be reckoned with, and THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION ably supports this assertion. Between his work as a frontman for The Commodores, songwriter for other artists, and as a solo act, Richie became the only songwriter to score nine chart-toppers in nine consecutive years. Aside from Kenny Rogers' "Lady" and USA For Africa's "We Are The World," (co-written with Michael Jackson), all the other #1's are here: "Endless Love" (with Diana Ross), "Truly," "Hello," "All Night Long (All Night)," "Say You, Say Me," "Still" and "Three Times A Lady." That's not even counting the man's other Top 10 hits including further Commodores manna like "Easy" (later a hit remake for Faith No More). Throw in solo sides like the infectious "Dancing On the Ceiling" and the urgent "Running With The Night" and its easy to hear how Richie nonchalantly dominating the charts throughout the '80s. He brings things up-to-date with two new songs: the slow rolling Enrique Iglesias duet "To Love a Woman" and the piano ballad "Goodbye."

Tim Mcgraw Live Like You Were Dying CD (2004) Top Seller
Tuskegee songs Country superstar Tim McGraw surely needs no apologists; the Louisiana-born singer, who's racked up millions of record sales and married country diva Faith Hill, is practically a force of nature. However, there is a misconception of McGraw as just a high-gloss hat act, a notion that a close listen to LIVE LIKE YOU WERE DYING should dispel.
For one thing, while almost all of his peers record with the same pool of Nashville studio hotshots, McGraw continues to work with his longtime band, the Dancehall Doctors. Additionally, progressive-country cult heroes Bruce Robison and Rodney Crowell are among the songwriters tapped for material here. Most importantly, at a time when most mainstream country artists are compelled to pander to their audience by maintaining a "don't worry, be happy" attitude, McGraw isn't afraid to journey into darker emotional territory, often with no clear way out--see the heartbreaking "Blank Sheet of Paper," and "Open Season on My Heart." The latter song is surely one of the most powerful pieces to be found on a circa-2004 hit country album, and even though Crowell penned it (with James T. Slater), you can thank Tim McGraw for bringing it to the light of day.

Brad Paisley Mud on the Tires CD (2003) Top Seller
Tuskegee album for sale Contains an untitled hidden track which follows "Farther Along."
"Spaghetti Western Swing" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Performance. "Celebrity" was nominated for Best Country Song.
If Brad Paisley did not exist it would be necessary to invent him. He stands at the crossroads between the hipster realms of alt-country and the proletarian climes of mainstream Nashville. He's too close to the middle of the road to ever be drawn to the No Depression crowd's collective bosom, but he's miles ahead of the country assembly line. On his third album he continues to do things nobody else in the Nashville hierarchy does; play a number of his own instruments, write almost all his own songs, use his own band instead of the same studio vets that occupy the credits of seemingly every other contemporary country record.
Most importantly, his songs are full of humor that doesn't descend into hee-haw jokiness. He uses a gently mocking touch to highlight the simple truths about life and love, gaining a fresh, distinctive perspective in the process. The title cut is as close as he gets to commercial, and by "Hold Me In Your Arms" he's dipping into the Bakersfield sound with aplomb. "The Cigar Song" is a shaggy-dog tale worthy of Loudon Wainwright. And what other pop-country star would include two Western Swing-style instrumentals on an album, one of which ("Spaghetti Western Swing") seamlessly melds Wills and Morricone. Now that's an accomplishment!
Recorded at The Castle, Franklin, Tennessee.
Personnel includes: Brad Paisley (vocals, acoustic, electric, & 12-string guitar, mandolin, Tic-Tac bass); Alison Krauss (vocals, viola); Redd Volkaert (guitar); Randel Currie (steel guitar); Ron Block (banjo); Jerry Douglas (dobro); Justin Williamson (fiddle); Gordon J. Mote (piano, Hammond B-3 organ); Kevin Grantt (bass); Bernie Herms (piano); Eric Darken (percussion); Ben Sesar (drums); Dan Akroyd, Jim Belushi, Vince Gill, Maddie Sampson, Georgia Claire Varble, Manny Rogers, Charles McCallie, Wes Hightower (background vocals).

Don Williams Definitive Collection CD (2004) Top Seller
Tuskegee CD music Don Williams's mellow, amiable baritone and easygoing approach made him one of the biggest country stars of the 1970s. With simple arrangements, straightforward songs, and an emotionally honest but endearingly laconic delivery, Williams had an instantly appealing signature sound. He rarely strayed far from that template, but there was little reason to, especially with the outpouring of hits he scored throughout the '70s. A hefty helping of those hits is presented here, from the aging-singer meditation "Amanda" to the funky "Tulsa Time" (later covered by Williams acolyte Eric Clapton).
Though Williams generally keeps things slow and easy (it wouldn't be unfair to call him the Bing Crosby of country music), there are infectious rhythmic undercurrents throughout (an R&B lope here, a Waylon Jennings beat there), and no matter how mellow he gets, he's never lugubrious. While one could quibble over some of the omissions (the sharp murder ballad "Miller's Cave," the perky "Big Ole Brew," memorably sung by Bill Murray in STRIPES), THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION is pretty much what its title promises.
25 Tracks. Repl.#5944 Mca - "20 Gh".
Liner Note Author: Scott Schinder.
