| magnificent
This slow, brooding, initially inaccesable album is one of my favorites if you want to chill out, or wallow in your own misery. Ground breaking at the time of release, it is still sounds very fresh. Not one for a party!

| One of the Best Bands Ever!
I've owned this cd for years and still consider it in my top ten! I don't know what happened to them! Seems like they were way ahead of their time but certainly anyone who listens to this, or any of their cds would concur that these guys were/are good! I purchased this cd the day it was made available for sale knowing I might not ever hear a single tune from it on the radio. I didn't care, I knew what I was purchasing! They didn't dissappoint, in fact, quite the opposite! If you don't own this cd, GET IT!

| STONE COLD CLASSIC
No-one sounded like this band at their best. The silences, the suspenseful tempos, the strangulated vocals conspire to present a disturbed world of fractured beauty and haunted shadows. Anything by this band is worth listening to- LAUGHING STOCK is a companion volume. It stopped their career in its tracks. Re-discover it now.

| A diamond among rocks
When Spirit of Eden came out I had never heard anything like it. Still today it's hard to find anything like it. But you will wish you could after you listen to this gem a couple of times. It is up-lifting and healing and soon to be a favorite of yours.
