Stalingrad album Product Description
Stalingrad album by Accept was released Apr 17, 2012 on the Nuclear Blast (USA) label. UK LP pressijng. Stalingrad music CDs Accept's history dates back to the days when heavy metal was just in its formative stages. Their first album came in 1979 but the fire has only burned brighter, as heard in the 2010 album, Blood of the Nations, which catapulted them back into the forefront of heavy metal. Inspired by their fans' awe-inspiring reaction to their explosive live shows as well as the grandiose success of that comeback album, the band bring us another collection of heavy metal classics. Stalingrad is every bit as voluminous as the band's legendary releases with new metal anthems that carry on their tradition of excellence. This vibrant and mesmerizing album harnesses everything that earned Accept the status of true heavy metal legends: thunderous riffs, blinding guitar leads, aggressive vocals and infectious, undiluted metal songs with a bite that are destined to keep Accept ahead of the pack. There truly is no rest for the wicked as the Teutonic terror continue their worldwide domination with a North American tour with Kreator, leaving all non-believers in their metallic dust! The venerable German outfit's 13th studio album, and second with vocalist Mark Tornillo, who does an awfully convincing Udo Dirkschneider impression when he hits the high registers, builds on the surprise success of 2010's Blood of the Nations with another solid set of muscular, no frills metal songs that are sure to send longtime fans into a flag waving frenzy. Focused, fierce, and surprisingly fresh, the 11 cuts that make up Stalingrad: Brothers in Death sound like they crawled up out of the war-torn sewers of pre-unification Berlin and into a new host. There's nothing subtle about opening up a record with a song called "Hung, Drawn and Quartered" or ending a track about one of the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare with the National anthem of Russia, but that's what made the 1983 smash "Balls to Wall" so effective. ...See Full Description

| LET'S ROLL! ACCEPT'S BEST YET! This album picks up where Blood of the Nations left off. It is heavier, more intricate and more polished than anything the band has put forth to date. Mark Tornillo has come into his own here. His voice is stronger and more confident. At 50 something, he blows away other singers that are half his age in range and intensity. The guitar riffs are the strongest part of this album. They are everywhere and in a good way. If you love heavy metal, you must get Stalingrad.
