Clockwork Angels album by Rush was released Jun 12, 2012 on the Roadrunner label. Clockwork Angels has been a long time coming. Clockwork Angels songs Rush foreshadowed it in 2010 by releasing "BU2B," and "Caravan" to radio. The next single, "Headlong Flight," didn't appear until 2012. Co-produced with Nick Raskulinecz (who also worked on 2007's Snakes & Arrows), Clockwork Angels is a return to the concept album by the band that perfected it on 2112 in 1976. It centers on a loose narrative about a young man following his dreams. He struggles with inner and outer forces of order and chaos; he encounters an expansive world where colors, images, territories, and characters are embodied by pirates, strange carnivals, rabble-rousing anarchists, and lost cities. His enemy is the Watchmaker, a ruthless authoritarian presence who attempts to rule the universe and all aspects of everyday life with fascistic precision. Awesome
It's great when a band gets along with each other and they enjoy making music. This is reflected & obvious through out the album. Clockwork Angles & Wish Them Well" are two of my favorite tracks on this CD. Well worth checking out.

Pride In The Name Of RUSH
Been a Rush fan forever, still play their old stuff on my guitar. This album more than any other makes me proud to be a Rush fan. It's a big proggy story and the music and playing are awesome. As stated the more you listen the more is revealed, there is so much going on here. It's so dense in fact that the initial listen can be overwhelming and you can't grok it all so some may pass it off but true fans will be rewarded. And if you are new to Rush prepare to be blown away by this "power trio".

RUSH / C.A. / A Steam Punk Winner!!!
This has to be one of the best Rush albums in 2 decades. While it does take several listens to love. Love it , you will. Back are Alex's traditional guitar solos , Moog synths , piano and beautiful sounding strings. Every song is connected by music , not just silence like any great Pink Floyd album. However , the lyrics and music are more upbeat and hopeful. Even old Rush fans who only like their 1970s music will love this album. There is also a novel that you can buy that goes with this album. What is truly amazing is that Rush can come out with an excellent and innovative album this late in their career. How many other bands in all of rock history can claim that?

I agree with all the reviews before me and vote that RUSH is probably my all time favorite Progressive Rock band for all time. They have endured and changed with the times and in most cases pioneered the way for all....
