The Matrix Action Sci-Fi, Great Actors, Cheap...YES! By a reviewer (Marion, Oh, USA) This review is for a different format.
Good Action Movie The Matrix is a really good movie. I have probably seen it over 10 times and it still never gets old. The whole cast gave good performances especially Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne. I also liked the whole story line to the movie. It's very different and a whole new concept for movies released from recent years. So go out and buy this movie immediately and add it to your dvd collection. You'll have a good time watching it. I know I did. By AJAY204182 (East Hanover, NJ, USA) This review is for a different format.
Asinine One of the dumbest plots and pretexts for a movie ever to come out of Hollywood. Let's see, machines are farming humans because they want to use them as living batteries to generate electricity. Oh yeah, that makes sense. Never mind how much energy is consumed feeding and caring for the humans. Oh yeah, and there are no true physical events...every experience if part of a computer program. What a bunch of crap. Please disconnect me. By brianp (fremont, CA) This review is for a different format.
A little overrated The Matrix is definetly a breakthrough in special effects, but the movie a little overrated. It can get confusing and a little boring. By Blake (Brandon,MS) This review is for a different format.
| Whoa is right! These movies not only helped bring special effects to a new level, they are not for the light of brain. The Matrix trilogy will make you think, which is something most movies do not do these days. Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving take the protagonist and antagonist roles to levels I haven't see on film in a while. Both give career performances, especially Reeves, who take Neo from a confused, shy computer hacker and transforms him into the confidant, soaring hero at the end of the trilogy.
