Herbie Takes Off
This is one of Herbie�s early Blue Note releases added to the Rudy Van Gelder Edition series. This means of course that it sounds great. This is just Herbie, bass, drums and percussion, no horns in sight. An unusual and interesting set. Not essential, but very enjoyable.
