The eighth-studio album from alt-rock firebrand Marilyn Manson, Born Villain is the follow-up to the band's 2009 effort The High End of Low. Described as having a heavier sound than its predecessor, this is also purported to be a concept album of sorts, in the vein of similar works by longtime Manson influence David Bowie.
