| Delicious
First, you make a roux with some flavorful slide guitar. Then you add some really spicy zydeco and stir in a generous dash of cajun waltz. It's a delicious gumbo that I enjoy more and more with every serving. Ditto for "Levee Town."

| southern magic !
In this type of music it´s easy to sound and play like all the other bands that play so called southern rock. Well Mr Landreth does not,the music is both beutiful and scary and it rocks,just check out congo square and shootin´for the moon. One star minus for the precence of Mark Knopfler,but dont let thet scare you,just buy it.

| Slide revolution
South of I-10 buy CD music Let me try to hold this in english (not easy, this). I was seeking for some new slidemen others than the slide "fame classic" like Winters, Taylor, Cooder and some others. Then fell on that record "south of I-10" that radically changed my view on the slide guitar and the way to play it. This is kind of subjective I know, but it also make me realize that there also was type of other music like Cajun. The mix in here is amazing (douwx euphemisme as we say in french) and makes you want to go further up in that direction. Now I am discovering all that traditionnal Cajun, and this is just as great. Back to the LP, I headlined slide revolution cause noone ever played and sounded like this. I am in now in that slide direction tryin to catch Native Stepson , works fine so far, but what a digital hell to achieve out.
I would like Sonny to come and play in France, and expect his new record.
