| Aaliyah's The BEST!!!!
I have heard this album before when a relative had it. That was when it first came out. Now that she is gone, I am collecting all of her work. She was an extremely creative artist and I will miss her. I think this album is the bomb!

| fresh, funky, smooth and soulful
Age Ain't Nothing But A Number buy CD music Aaliyah's debut album is very impressive and has a very personal feel, considering it was mostly written by her mentor R. Kelly and produced by Kelly and Liyah's uncle Barry Hankerson. Aaliyah was very mature at 16 and sung these songs from an honest understanding of their content and musical direction. The album is somewhat diverse in how different musical themes blend, all light, smooth R+B and a deft mix of: Soul R+B/Pop/Hip-Hop/Rap. other artists introduced each track, but she gradually eased her way into the songs until she modestly owned them; we just know who the boss is... the album features: Back And Forth, Age Ain't Nothing... (title track), Down With The Clique, At Your Best (written by Ron Isley), No One Knows How To Love Me Quite Like You Do, I'm So Into You and I'm Down. This is no sample or tribute album as every song is connected by her one familiar signature Aaliyah theme: street-but-sweet. i began my Aaliyah collection with "I Care 4 U", but had i known how good this was i would've started with this one....

i think this is her best cd ever and she should have worked with r. kelly again cause they go very well together. this is her best album ever and its one of my personal favorites. ill love her always. rip baby gurl!

Age Ain't Nothing But A Number songs Aaliyah's debut album is really something every R'n'B fan should own. Age Ain't Nothing But A Number album for sale Although her new album is much better, I think "Age Ain't Nothing" is a good album. The best songs are the title track and Young Nation, At Your Best You Are Love (a beautiful love song) and her debut single Back & Forth. (Mine also includes a song called The Thing I Like. I don't know why is this song not listed here.).
