| Jeff was an incredible musician Jeff Buckley died before he could finish his second album, so all that remains are demos and various live recordings from the mid 1990's. This import album was recorded in France, where Jeff was quite popular. The album's track list is pretty generic, but it's always amazing to hear Jeff doing what he did best - playing his heart out. My only disappointment is with the version of "Hallelujah" on here - it's sung with little passion and is almost unbearable to listen to. | AMAZING ALBUM Jeff is amazing in all aspects. I think this album catches the power he has as much as any of the others, and sometimes even more. The Lilac Wine into Grace is spectacular, followed by the great parody of Kashmir, and the "All the I ask", probably the most beautiful version EVER! Lover, you should have come over is also amazing. In fact, the whole album is, simply put, amazing. By a reviewer (Rochester, NY, USA) This review is for a different format. |

Original Soundtrack / Vangelis 1492: Conquest of Paradise CD (1992)
Live a l'Olympia buy CD music Suitably grand in scale and far-reaching in its scope, this soundtrack is the first new music from Vangelis since 1990's The City. 1492 stands up well next to Vangelis's classic Chariots of Fire, due to his innate ability to get right inside the material and provide an integral part of the film itself. Vangelis succeeds in capturing the 15th-century mood, mixing rich choral portions with modern elements, and portraying the larger than life character of Columbus, complete with full-range, dynamic sound. ~ Backroads Music/Heartbeats

Appart Flamencotronics CD (2008)
Live a l'Olympia songs Not to be confused with the German electronica artist Apparat or the Swedish rock group of the same name, A.P.P.A.R.T. is the moniker for French producer Anthony Rochier. Rochier specializes in atmospheric, beat-driven treatments of world music, and FLAMENCOTRONICS falls directly in line with this aesthetic. As the title implies, the album mixes the sounds of flamenco, recorded live, with electronic production and breakbeats, house rhythms, and downtempo chill tracks.
Personnel: Anthony Rouchier (vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass guitar, programming); Diana Regano (vocals, palmas); Alejandro Pandore (vocals).
