| Good 'ol boys
The OZ rock is high with this album. The new generation of rock albums and already they're kickin' out the whimps! This album is what rock needs if it wants to survive!!! GO FOR IT!!

| rock greatness
this album hits your soul with power and emotion. i love the sounds that these guys make out of their guitars. it is unbelievable. the lead singer's voice is one in a billion. it is great. awesome rhythms and new sounding riffs.

| I was fooled...but not for long.
Right. Do you like The Beatles? What about The Beach Boys? Oasis? Well, if the answer to the preceding is 'yes' then you're bound to revel in The Vines. Simple as that. The thing is, I don't enjoy the above one little bit. I was informed that their music had a 'retro-stoner' edge. Oh, how I laughed at this absurd notion when I heard the record. It's funny, though, how a laugh can quickly turn into a grimace.

i like the beatles, i like nirvana, but the vines have got to be the icing on the cake! these guys have stlye and i love his voice
