El Reencuentro album for sale by Raphael was released May 22, 2012 on the Sony Music label. Raphael's monumental worldwide success owes much to composer Manuel Alejandro, who wrote most of the iconic Spanish crooner's all-time classics until their decades-long collaboration exhausted itself in the mid-'80s. Now for the first time in almost 30 years, Raphael and Alejandro reunite for the aptly titled El Reencuentro, allegedly the first installment of a trilogy. The formula remains the same: 12 new Alejandro songs, tailor-made for Raphael's characteristic style of singing and romantic histrionics, led by the single "Eso Que Llaman Amor."
