Ram album for sale Product Description
Ram album for sale by Paul McCartney was released on the Universal Music label. At the beginning of his solo career, McCartney took the term rather literally, recording virtually alone, playing and singing nearly all the parts himself. Nowhere is that approach more effective than on RAM, arguably his finest solo recording. Admittedly, he had a little help from guitarist Hugh McCracken and a couple of others here and there, but for the most part, this is Paul's show. ...See Full Description

the best album i go back and forth with this one and band on the run all the time and i have all of them.but this one had an absolute beatle vibe for sure.he was still beatle paul.this would have made some awesome beatle tracks..yeah! i could have heard john & george singing the harmonies in smile away/too many people/ram on/uncle albert.many more.the guitars on this album are incredible.in a lot of ways this was really the first wings album just without denny laine and henry m,but with linda in the mix it was the begining of the wings sound.and quite honestly her vibe is sorely missed in his sound at this point, people have all sorts of opinions on this but a sound was created and it belonged to paul & linda and she was damn cool, this is about family not hollywood.and i love the fact that you hear what turned into big barn bed 2 yrs later (red rose speedway) on the ram reprise and monkberry moon delight has that upsetting kind of sound.but blistering outta the speakers.the back seat of my car is a masterpiece paul rock ballad.i think maybe im amazed is hard for him to top and always will be and im a player and whenever i play MIA with people i get goose bumps.but back seat is in the league.the thing about this album is that it is such a classic that when you listen you will usually go from top to bottom..so if you dont own this one your missing out.everytime i hear it i hear something i missed last time.when that happens.you know it's good..rock on friends,BL By BHL (new york) This review is for a different format.
Excellent fan album This was Paul McCartney's second solo release and it contains the hit "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey." Some great songs on this album include "Three Legs," "Heart of the Country," "Smile Away" and "Too Many People"--which he performed for the first time live on his recent tour. The album is upbeat, fun, and full of surprises. By whitesox9 (Kirkland, IL) This review is for a different format.
Pure Paul Just Paul doing what he does, I loved it when I first bought the LP, and I HAD to have this on CD. It has been in the car CD player over a week now. By Lenny (Columbia, Md. USA) This review is for a different format.
Paul McCartney Unleashed We always knew that Paul was different than the others. Ram carries through with the theme of a man on vacation doing what he always wanted to do. Every song is different and yet similar in theme. Ram got the songs out of Paul's system that had been building up for a long time and so gave us a unique and quality look inside. Remastering is just the ice cream on the cake. By mark_dent (Louisiana) This review is for a different format.
McCartney Gets Better For those of you who have been life long fans of Paulie AB (After Beatles) this re-release is a welcome addition and upgrade sonically to the original Ram release. It is crisp and clear. True to the original. By ecvclamper (Monterey, CA, USA) This review is for a different format.
