this is one of the most frightening movies ever made. I have been watching horror movies for years but this one sticks in my mind days after watching it....i still can't watch it alone.

This movie is truly a classic. Almost as good as the excorcist but not quite!! Barbara Hershey gives a great performance.

| Invisible Demon Rapes & Seduces Woman
I saw this movie back in the 80's while living in California. I found it alternately scary and kind of a erotic in a strange kind of way. It's about a demon who chooses a single mother to be his mate. First he rapes her, then he seduces her and, ultimately, leaves her without much of a choice concerning their "relationship." Barbara is very good in a role that required her to go fear to anger to embarassment and, finally, resignation. Ron Silver is good as the "heavy", a shrink who, due to his inability to see any possibilities outside of his belief that there is a rational explanation for everything and, therefore, makes things worse while trying to help the woman. I loved that movie and have watched it many times. Some nice special effects are in it, especially when you her bare breasts being fondled by no thing visible. It's definitely not for kids. ac

| Horny ghost nails lonely babe
Based on a true story, I have to wonder if a female ghost of the same demeanor would like to move into my house? I live at... ha ha. I cannot think of a better way to be stuck in the afterlife. Come back as a horny ghost and nail a gorgeous lonely babe all day long. When I first saw this movie years ago it scared me. Now that I'm seeing it again, it's a bit of a turnon. Ghostly fingers fondling naked breasts. A guy coming home off the road finds his girlfriend being nailed on the bed by a ghost as she can only mutter 'help me, help me' while being humped by an invisible entity. At first the ghost is rough with her, but later gives her oral pleasure while she sleeps and then she feels guilty about the ghost making her orgasm? It's a toss up between who is most evil in this movie - the ghost or the psychiatrist, both are obsessed with the female subject. However, nailing her in front of the kids was a bit much, bad ghost!!! The end of the movie statement that scrolls is rather interesting.
