Daddy Yankee Barrio Fino en Directo CD (2005)
Andy Griffith Show 2013 Calendar Daddy Yankee was one of the leading figures of the reggaeton movement in the mid-2000s, and this dual-disc compilation package is a testament to the Puerto Rican rapper's talent and popularity. BARRIO FINO EN DIRECTO namechecks Daddy Yankee's immensely popular BARRIO FINO album, and several tracks from that album are featured here in live concert versions. Also included on the CD are four new studio cuts, including "Gangsta Zone," with Snoop Dogg, and "Machete Reloaded," with Paul Wall. The presence of these mainstream hip-hop artists shows just how far reggaeton was able to cross over.
On both the live audio tracks and the live footage included on the DVD, it's clear that Daddy Yankee is a first-rate and much-loved performer (his arena-sized audiences sing along with every word). The high-energy music, which draws on dancehall rhythms, hip-hop attitude, and Latin-flavored samples and accents, is as infectious here as on any of Daddy Yankee's releases. Fans won't want to miss this key overview.
The DVD also includes special features like music videos, photos, and behind-the-scenes documentary footage.
This set features a live DVD filmed December 19 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in Puerto Rico, including behind-the-scenes b-roll, Puerto Rico Day Parade performance, exclusive interviews, and video. The CD includes all the audio from the DVD performance, plus 5 totally new studio tracks and guest stars Snoop Dogg and Paul Wall. This set carries a parental advisory.

Replacements Pleased to Meet Me CD (1987)
Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Andy Griffith Show 2013 Calendar The Replacements' brand of brash, dirty rock & roll reached its apex on PLEASED TO MEET ME. A stomping collection of blistering, no-bull compositions and performances, this album represents a wild, angry, and ultimately beautiful marriage of inspired songcraft and punk rock abandon. The album's biggest hit, "Alex Chilton," is a swinging, stomping homage to the pop stylist to whom the Replacements were so deeply indebted, with plenty of the stadium-sized power-chords that comprise the groups less-fashionable influences (Kiss's "Black Diamond" was one of their better-known covers).
The rollicking "Red Red Wine" is an homage of another sort--the Replacements were a band fueled by alcohol; live gigs were always unpredictable, well-lubricated affairs. The disarming acoustic ballad "Skyway" has a timeless feel, expertly performed and evocatively delivered. The album's closer, "Can't Hardly Wait," provided the 'Mats with another signature tune; Paul Westerberg is at his raspy, poetic best, while idol Alex Chilton is credited with guitar.
Personnel: Luther Dickinson (guitar); Max Huls (strings); Teenage Steve Douglas (bass flute, baritone saxophone); Prince Gabe (saxophone); Andrew Love (tenor saxophone); Ben Jr. (trumpet); East Memphis Slim (organ, keyboards, vibraphone, background vocals); James Vito (background vocals).
Audio Mixers: Phillip Broussaard; Joe Hardy; John Hampton; Tommy Stinson; Brian Kehew.
Audio Remasterer: Dave Schultz.
The Replacements: Paul Westerberg (vocals, guitar); Tommy Stinson (bass); Chris Mars (drums).
