Ultradiscs are mastered from the original master tapes using Mobile Fidelity's proprietary mastering technique, then plated with 24 karat gold and housed in a stress-resistent lift-lock jewel box. Tarkus songs ELP was always more concerned with the fusion of rock and classical music than any of their prog-rock peers. ELP hits their stride
the band really came into it`s own with this album. beginning with the 18 minute title track,Emerson brings the moog synth to the forefront with multi-tracking.

THIS SECOND ALBUM SHOWCASES THE SONGWRITING AND VERSATILITY OF THE GROUP. THIS IS PROBABLY KEITH EMERSON'S BEST EFFORT. GET THIS.

Emerson, Lake and Palmer expand their creativeness dramatically (after you hear their debut and "Pictures at an Exhibition") on this album.
