no frame of reference
I personally like Frank Black's solo work as much or more than the Pixies. I had a HUGE expectation for the new F.B. cd. This CD was unlike any of his other stuff. At first, I was heartbroken. I put it up and didn't listen to it for many months. Now, I'm appreciating it in a whole different way. I'm seeing him on Monday and think this material will be great live.

J for Junk
I have listened to the Pixies since 87' and the first 4 FB cds picked this one up and all the songs are horriable, except go find your saint. Otherwise if that was'nt on the cd I'd give it 1 star. If your looking for boring slow music check it out. But it sure is not the Frank I once knew.

Frank Black at his best!
He sings from the heart and that is what is beautiful about his music. Honeycomb ends with a great song, Sing For Joy. Also recommend: Pixies, and any other Frank Black album.
